Advisory Group members head up free Surrey University Symposium

Professor Eugene Sadler-Smith and Dr Graham Robinson, members of the our Trust’s Advisory Group, will both be speaking at the upcoming ‘Hubris in Business and Management’ symposium.

The event, hosted by Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, will be held on Wednesday 20 May 2015 in Guildford. Free of charge (although numbers are strictly limited), it is being described as “a valuable exchange of ideas on the current state-of-the-art in hubris research.”

Prof Sadler-Smith and Dr Robinson will be joined by some of the UK’s leading researchers into hubris in management. They include Professor George Berguno, Professor of Psychology, Richmond American International University, London; Professor Mark Stein, Chair in Leadership and Management at the University of Leicester; and Professor Dennis Tourish Professor of Leadership and Organization Studies, Royal Holloway, University of London.

“The symposium will provide an opportunity to find out more about what business researchers have to say about hubris, and network with a wide range of practitioners and researchers all of whom are interested in understanding and managing the causes and consequences of hubris.”

Numbers are limited to 30 participants on a first-come first-served basis.
